Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha announced this Thursday, through a post on X, the launch of direct flights between Luxembourg and Tirana operated by Luxair. The Minister described the arrival of another European airline in Albania as excellent news.

According to him, this new and welcome connection between the two countries will bring their people, businesses, and communities even closer together.

Earlier, on April 21 of this year, Minister Hoxha visited Luxair’s headquarters, where he met with the company’s CEO, Gilles Feith. During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of establishing direct flights between Luxembourg and Tirana.
