Elbasan Cultural Heritage Attracts French Tourists

The Ethnographic Museum in Elbasan continues to be one of the city’s most visited cultural sites, attracting both local and foreign tourists interested in tradition and cultural identity.

Recently, the museum welcomed a group of French tourists who visited its historic building and explored its ethnographic collections.

Visitors viewed traditional crafts, household objects, and preserved artifacts that reflect the daily life, family traditions, and craftsmanship of Elbasan over the years.

The tourists showed particular interest in local handicrafts and praised the authenticity of the museum, its architecture, and the preservation of historical objects.

The Ethnographic Museum, also known as the “Sejdini House,” is a 18th-century two-story house and a Category I Cultural Monument since 1963.

The museum showcases around 80 traditional crafts, clothing, and urban household culture, making it a key cultural destination for visitors from around the world.
