A new gastronomic project in Elbasan is attracting attention from Italian media. The project, called Krohn, focuses on game meat, wild products, and local cuisine closely linked to the territory.
The project is located in a rural area near Elbasan, about 30 minutes from Tirana. It aims to combine nature, local ingredients, and modern cooking techniques.
The kitchen is led by Italian-Albanian chef Bleri Dervishi. He emigrated to Italy in the 1990s and built his professional career there before returning to Albania.
Dervishi is also the founder of the gastronomic restaurant “Gzona” in Tirana. He is known for promoting local products and contemporary Albanian cuisine.
Meanwhile, Italian media outlet CiboToday highlighted the concept of Krohn. It described the project as a destination where food, nature, and tradition are closely connected.
The project aims to promote Albania’s biodiversity and culinary heritage. It also focuses on using local ingredients and modern interpretations of traditional dishes.
In addition, Krohn seeks to become a reference point for territorial gastronomy. It also promotes Albania internationally through food and culinary tourism.
