Elbasani came from behind to beat Laçi 2-1, while Skënderbeu and Vllaznia played out a 1-1 draw in Sunday’s two other fixtures of Week 10 of Albania’s Abissnet Superiore.

In Korçë, Skënderbeu and Vllaznia shared the points after an evenly contested encounter. The hosts dominated the first half and created several chances before Bismark broke the deadlock in the 31st minute.

However, Vllaznia responded after the break. Captain Balaj equalized in the 67th minute to secure a point for the visitors. Skënderbeu protested over a possible foul in the build-up to the goal, while Vllaznia appealed for a penalty on more than one occasion. Neither side managed to find a winner.

The draw leaves Skënderbeu seventh with 11 points, level with Laçi, while Vllaznia remain second from bottom with nine points.

Meanwhile, Elbasani secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Laçi at Elbasan Arena. Despite several injury-related absences, coach Glen Daja made changes to his starting lineup, and Mazari emerged as the decisive figure.

Traore put Laçi ahead in the eighth minute, but Mazari restored parity from the penalty spot in the 16th minute. He then completed the comeback with his second goal in the 67th minute.

The victory lifts Elbasani to fourth place with 14 points, while Laçi remain sixth with 11.

Earlier on Sunday, Egnatia defeated Tirana away from home to strengthen their position at the top of the standings with 24 points. Tirana sit fifth with 12 points.

Week 10 concludes on Monday with Vora hosting Dinamo City at 13:30, followed by Teuta’s clash with Partizani at 18:30.
