Fuel Transparency Board cuts diesel and petrol prices in Albania

TIRANA, June 10 – The Transparency Board set new retail and wholesale price ceilings for diesel and petrol. Gazoil meeting SSH EN 590 standards will cost no more than 188 ALL per litre at retail level, while wholesale prices will not exceed 176 ALL per litre. Petrol will not exceed 171 ALL per litre at retail level, with wholesale prices set at 159 ALL per litre.

New prices enter into force today at 14:00 and remain valid until the next board meeting. Fuel operators must comply with the decision, and authorities will suspend operations in case of violations.

The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy said they will protect consumers and ensure fair competition in the fuel market.
