Government Transfers State Properties for Two Major Investment Projects in Palasë

The Council of Ministers has approved the transfer of state-owned properties to the Albanian Investment Corporation for the development of two projects in Palasë: the “Public Services Center Palasë” and “Copëzat”.

The decision enables the Albanian Investment Corporation to act as the developer of state properties on behalf of the state.

In addition, the Corporation is authorized to develop and manage these properties through legal investment mechanisms.

It will negotiate with private and public entities to implement development contracts related to the projects.

Furthermore, it will cooperate with institutions such as the State Cadastre Agency and territorial planning authorities.

The Corporation will also ensure the registration of new state properties created during project implementation.

If necessary, it is authorized to carry out demolition of existing structures within the project areas.

It is also responsible for consolidating properties in cases of legal or factual discrepancies.

The decision includes changes to the state property inventory, including the removal of the “SPK Dhërmi” border point.

Finally, several institutions, including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Himara Municipality, the Cadastre Agency, and the Investment Corporation, are tasked with implementing the decision.
