The Institute of GeoSciences (IGJEO) warns of a high fire risk this afternoon and tomorrow in Shkodër, Elbasan and Fier counties. Meanwhile, other parts of the country will face a moderate risk.
However, the high-risk level will affect only localised areas in some counties. These include northeastern Lezhë, northeastern Tirana and northeastern Berat.
As for rainfall, light to locally moderate showers are expected in Korçë County this afternoon and on Thursday, September 10. Thunderstorms may also occur.
Meanwhile, light rain is forecast in Kukës, Dibër, Elbasan, Berat, Vlorë and Gjirokastër counties. Other areas may see locally light showers.
Tomorrow, temperatures will range from 20°C to 31°C along the coast. In lowland areas, they will range from 19°C to 33°C. Meanwhile, mountain areas will see temperatures between 14°C and 32°C.
Finally, winds will remain light to moderate this afternoon and tomorrow.
