At the Kakavija border crossing, heavy movement has continued throughout the day on both sides of the border due to the Orthodox Easter celebrations.
According to the Border Police, during the last 24 hours, a total of 7,649 citizens were processed at Kakavija in both entry and exit directions — 3,616 entering and 4,033 leaving the country. Additionally, 2,408 vehicles were processed, with 1,241 entering and 1,167 exiting.
The high volume of border traffic is expected to continue in the coming days, as many compatriots who spent Easter in their homeland return to Greece.
