TIRANA, May 15 – Infrastructure and Energy Minister Enea Karakaçi met Greek Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou in Athens during the Energy Conference.
Karakaçi discussed current cooperation between Albania and Greece, while also addressing joint strategic energy projects.
A key topic focused on a new interconnection line between the two countries. The project aims to link the Albanian and Greek power grids and improve regional energy security.
Karakaçi said the two sides reviewed ongoing cooperation and joint projects during the Athens conference. He underlined plans for the new interconnection line.
He also highlighted cooperation between the Albanian and Greek energy exchanges. He said the partnership has improved transaction security and efficiency.
The meeting in Athens strengthened energy cooperation between the two countries and supported regional stability.
