Italian tourists were seen dancing aboard a tourist boat along the stunning coast of Karaburun, according to a video shared on social media by Socialist Party parliamentary leader Taulant Balla.
The footage captures visitors enjoying the crystal-clear waters and vibrant summer atmosphere in one of southern Albania’s most popular coastal destinations. As a result, Karaburun continues to attract both domestic and international travelers.
In a lighthearted post, Balla joked that Italian tourists had “stolen” the Albanian traditional dance. He humorously asked, “Where are the patriots to chase them away immediately?”
Meanwhile, Albania has recorded strong growth in tourism over recent years. Consequently, the Vlora coastline and surrounding areas, including Karaburun, have become key destinations for nature-based and marine tourism.
Furthermore, the Sazan-Karaburun Marine Park, the only national marine park in Albania, has emerged as a major tourist attraction. Located in the region of Vlora, the park welcomes thousands of local and foreign visitors who arrive on tourist boats departing from the city’s port.
The marine park stretches across approximately 1.9 kilometers and features several natural and cultural landmarks. Among them are the famous Haxhi Ali Cave, the park’s most visited attraction, the historic Bay of Grama, and the island of Sazan Island, which has become the park’s leading attraction since opening to the public.
As tourism continues to expand, destinations such as Karaburun are playing an increasingly important role in showcasing Albania’s natural beauty and coastal heritage to the world.
