Kosovo Celebrates Independence Day With Parade

The Republic of Kosovo marked tenth anniversary of its declaration of independence from on February 17. On Sunday citizens were offered a parade through Pristina by the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), a lightly armed, 2,500-strong force trained by NATO and tasked with crisis response, civil protection and ordinance disposal. Also the Kosovo Police units paraded in Pristina before most senior state officials.
