Kosovo to Host the Balkan Cycling Championship for the First Time

The Cycling Federation of Kosovo will hold a press conference on June 3 ahead of the BCU Balkan Cycling Championship 2026, an event that will be organized in Kosovo for the first time.

The conference is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m., during which federation officials will present details regarding the organization of the championship, technical and operational preparations, as well as the objectives of Kosovo’s national team for the competition, according to KosovaPress.

The 2026 Balkan Cycling Championship will bring together representatives from 10 countries across the region. Hosting the event is considered a significant milestone for the development and promotion of cycling in Kosovo.

The championship is expected to provide an important platform for regional sporting cooperation while showcasing Kosovo’s capabilities in organizing major international sporting events.
