Former Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari will join the Prime Minister’s Office team and work on the government’s two new platforms, “Besa” and “Mirror” platforms.
In a Facebook post, Lamallari described his time as Interior Minister as an unforgettable journey and a “book of life” that guided him to his next role.
He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Edi Rama for the trust and the new opportunity. Lamallari said his time at the Interior Ministry helped him grow professionally, politically and personally.
He also congratulated his successor, Ervin Demo, expressing confidence that he will successfully advance the government’s priorities at the ministry.
Lamallari said serving the country is the greatest honor and thanked his colleagues and family for their support.
