TIRANA, May 28 – The National Business Center and InfoCamere agreed steps to deepen cooperation. The focus covers modernisation of the Albanian Trade Register and expansion of digital services for business.
Meanwhile, a delegation from the National Business Center visited Padova on an official working trip. Director General Etugert Llazi led the delegation. He held meetings with InfoCamere managers and experts. InfoCamere manages Italy’s trade register and electronic business services.
During a joint workshop, the two sides discussed a modern registration and reporting system based on the XBRL international standard. They also discussed integration with existing systems. They further discussed migration of data to a new digital platform. At the same time, the cooperation aims to improve efficiency in business services. It also aims to increase transparency. In parallel, it supports alignment of the Albanian system with European digital standards.
In addition, discussions focused on compliance with European Union directives and personal data protection. They also addressed integration with the BRIS system, which connects European business registers.
The Albanian delegation then studied Italy’s fully digital registry model. It reviewed electronic identification and electronic signatures. It also examined cybersecurity standards and IT infrastructure management. Furthermore, officials inspected the InfoCamere data center. They presented its technological capacity and operational structure. They explained service continuity mechanisms.
Later, the meetings took place in three sessions. One covered legal and regulatory issues. Another covered technical and IT matters. A third focused on the economic impact of the reform. Finally, both sides discussed project governance and implementation phases. They said the new system will improve the business climate and strengthen transparency and efficiency in Albania.
