A new online service allows taxpayers in Albania to obtain a vehicle possession certificate through e-Albania. The government services platform is available in Albanian and English. Applicants no longer need to visit an office in person.
The General Directorate of Taxation has published the steps for applying online. After completing the procedure, applicants can find the electronically sealed document in the “My Documents” section.
Meanwhile, the service is free of charge and the document is issued within two working days. The certificate has no expiry date. The digital service aims to simplify administrative procedures by allowing taxpayers to apply for and receive the document electronically.
