Peleshi Discusses European Integration During Meetings in Latvia

Speaker of Parliament Niko Peleshi held meetings in Latvia with Inara Murniece and Edmunds Cepurītis.

During the discussions, the participants focused on Albania’s accession process to the European Union. They also examined parliamentary and public support within EU member states, as well as the role of parliamentary diplomacy in advancing enlargement.

Furthermore, Peleshi thanked Latvia for its continued support of Albania’s European integration. He described Latvia as an important advocate for the European future of the Western Balkans.

Finally, Peleshi reaffirmed Albania’s commitment to continuing reforms. As a result, the country aims to successfully advance its path toward full European Union membership.
