Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today an excerpt from his interview with journalist Rudina Xhunga, who held an extensive conversation with the prime minister on her “Flasim Shqip” podcast.
In a video posted on social media, Rama shared part of his story about his school years. He recalled an experience that, according to him, reflected the atmosphere of the time and the limits placed on individual expression.
“It was an anonymous wall, painted with lime and covered in dirt. One person painted it yellow, another blue, another green and another red. Then the teacher came and was shocked: ‘What is this?’ And we all played the fool, or the mischievous fool. ‘But it is white.’ ‘No.’ Then he went to the other person and asked: ‘So, who is right now?’ ‘No, that is how I see it.’ And this ‘that is how I see it’ was actually a great heresy at that time,” Rama said in the excerpt.
Meanwhile, the prime minister took part in an exclusive special edition of the “Flasim Shqip” podcast outside its regular season. During the marathon conversation, journalist Rudina Xhunga asked Rama more than 300 questions covering a wide range of current issues.
