Rama: Radhima Transforms as “Lungomare 4” Takes Shape

Edi Rama said that Vlora continues to transform through major investments in public spaces and tourism infrastructure.

He stated that the coastal area of Radhimë is undergoing visible changes. As a result, the “Lungomare 4” project is now taking shape.

Rama said the project is part of a broader vision for Albania 2030 in the EU. He emphasized that new public spaces are being developed to improve urban life and tourism services.

In addition, he noted that Radhima is seeing an increase in higher-quality hotels. Consequently, the area is becoming more attractive for visitors.

The “Lungomare 4” project extends the existing seaside promenade. It includes new pedestrian areas and improved infrastructure.

Furthermore, the plan features a 7-meter-wide promenade and a 2-meter cycling lane. This creates a more functional space for both pedestrians and cyclists.

Finally, Rama highlighted that the project aims to modernize the Vlora coastline. As a result, it is expected to strengthen tourism and improve the overall visitor experience.
