Modern technology investments and support through Albania’s National Investment Scheme and Soft Loan with a Sovereign Guarantee are helping businesses in Elbasan expand production and reach international markets.
“Toka Olives Oil,” one of the newer brands in extra virgin olive oil and table olive production, has invested in new equipment and processing lines. The company aims to increase its production capacity while further improving product quality.
Through the National Investment Scheme, the company signed an agreement with the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (AZHBR) to support investments in olive-processing equipment and production lines. The company also benefits from the Soft Loan with a Sovereign Guarantee.
Pranvera Goxho, a company representative, said the business has established a new olive oil brand and started exporting its products.
“We are a new company and have created a new olive oil brand. We are now exporting and aim to expand further, thanks to investments in modern technology and support from the National Scheme and the Sovereign Guarantee,” Goxho said.
Meanwhile, the company exports its products to the United States, Canada and European markets. It also sells its products on the domestic market.
Beyond expanding its markets, the company has also gained international recognition. Its organic olive oil won a “Gold Award” in Canada.
Furthermore, the company’s investments in new technology aim to add greater value to local production. They will also increase processing capacity and create new opportunities for Albanian olive products to reach international markets.
