Spahiu in China Highlights Expanding Albania–China Cooperation

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Klodiana Spahiu visited China last week to strengthen ties between the two countries.

During the visit, Spahiu met with Zhu Kaigou in Dezhou. Albanian Ambassador Riza Poda also attended the meeting.

Spahiu said Albania and China can expand cooperation through joint efforts. She stressed the importance of identifying new areas of partnership and building on the traditional friendship between the two countries.

Meanwhile, she called for stronger dialogue at every level. She highlighted agriculture, tourism, transport, education and culture as key sectors for future cooperation.

At the same time, Zhu Kaigou underlined the importance of business and industrial links. He also supported promoting Albanian products in Dezhou and expanding cultural and tourism exchanges.

Both sides agreed that regular meetings and open dialogue create practical opportunities. They said stronger cooperation can support economic growth and bring benefits to citizens in both countries.
