Thaci, Veseli and Haradinaj plotting to abrogate special court law

Kosovo top leaders – President Hashim Thaci, Speaker of Assembly Kadri Veseli, and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, are continuing efforts to repeal the Law on Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecution Office, established to try alleged crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). Kosovo leaders who were also senior commanders of the KLA, are expected to continue their adventure during January and through accelerated procedures to repeal the law. They are hoping also that the Vetevendosje MP, Albin Kurti, who was released from detention on Friday, will help them undo the controversial war crimes court.
