“This Is Hybrid Warfare” – Rama Reports Around 200 Police Officers Injured Compared to Just 80 Protesters

Prime Minister Edi Rama has described the violent incidents during recent protests as part of a well-organized hybrid warfare campaign orchestrated by foreign actors.

Analyzing the number of injuries on both sides, the prime minister stressed that around 200 police officers have been injured, compared to 80 protesters.

“This is an attack organized within a clearly defined perimeter, carried out by trained individuals and fueled by internal tensions and foreign actors.

It is hybrid warfare operating on this scale. Of course, the grievances are real, and one of the key narratives being pushed is that the police are using violence against protesters, children and minors.

There is a very simple fact: where disproportionate force is used, reports of injuries among protesters and police officers naturally show an imbalance, with more protesters injured than police officers.

We have nearly 200 injured police officers and 80 injured protesters, fewer than half of whom are students. The others are neither university students nor school pupils, but young people belonging to a group responsible for setting fires, masked, paid and brought in from the outskirts to attack the police and create an atmosphere of terror,” Rama said.
