“Speak with Prime Minister”: Rama launches new citizen engagement platform

TIRANA, November 6 /ATSH/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama has unveiled “Speak with the Prime Minister,” a 24/7 digital platform designed for direct citizen-to-government communication.

Addressing the current climate of protests and the challenges in fostering dialogue, the prime minister noted that technology offers a new opportunity for direct communication and the exchange of information and opinions, supported by a dedicated team that will monitor interactions on the platform.

“The site is ready. For anyone wishing to communicate or engage in dialogue—especially given the recent backdrop of protests, escalations, violence, pressure, threats and attempts to obstruct dialogue at any cost—this is the bridge that has been built for you,” said Rama.

According to him, this serves as a functional bridge for communication, open 24 hours a day. “A dedicated team will certainly ensure the full flow of information and the exchange of opinions. At this stage—and I believe it is only a matter of time before the artificially created ice melts—we are in a position to move forward. This ‘ice’ was imposed by those who think they can dictate terms to society, to democratic coexistence and to all those who hold different views. Meanwhile, we are seizing this golden opportunity provided by technology. You have it on your computer, you have it on your mobile phone screen. Welcome to ‘Dialogue’,” added Rama. /m.m/r.e/a.f/p.s./
