Police Chief Hita in Lezhë: Two Serious Crimes Prevented, Calls for Stronger School Security

The General Director of the State Police, Skënder Hita, visited the Lezhë Local Police Directorate, where he thanked and praised police officers for their work, dedication, and achievements in preventing and combating criminal activities.

During the meeting, Hita particularly commended the investigative and operational work of police units, which helped prevent two extremely serious criminal incidents, avoiding potential threats to citizens’ lives.

“The prevention of two extremely serious criminal incidents is the result of your hard work, dedication, motivation, and determination.

You have managed to identify and apprehend highly dangerous individuals who were suspected of planning attacks against specific people.

The incident involving explosives that occurred in your city two days ago has also been documented, and the investigation is progressing in the right direction.

All these results help build public trust and demonstrate your commitment to doing your best for this city,” Hita stated.

He also called for the same level of dedication and determination in carrying out other responsibilities, placing particular emphasis on school safety.

“School safety and the security perimeters around educational institutions are essential.

I want you to show even greater dedication and demand more of yourselves to ensure that cases of drug dealing near schools are effectively tackled by your units.

I want the positive results you have achieved to continue, accompanied by even greater attention and commitment from all of you,” he emphasized.

In conclusion, the General Director called for further strengthening of the Lezhë Local Police Directorate’s structures, encouraging officers to continue fulfilling their mission of ensuring public safety throughout the region with professionalism, responsibility, and determination.

The Director of the Lezhë Local Police Directorate, Senior Director Ermal Muçaj, thanked the General Director for his continued support in providing personnel and equipment, assuring him that local police units would continue making every effort to fulfill their duties.
