Berisha: On Saturday, everyone stands with students in support of their revolt

TIRANA, November 6 /ATSH/ – Chairman of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha called on citizens to join tomorrow’s protest in support of the students, describing the success of their revolt as a matter of importance for the country’s future.

During a press conference today, Berisha invited citizens of all ages and political beliefs to participate in the protest, emphasizing that support for the students must be widespread.

“The success of the student revolt is the success of every Albanian citizen who loves this country. It is the success of Albanians of all ages and beliefs who wish to build their lives in Albania,” stated Berisha.

He praised the students’ resilience and determination, stating that they deserve the support of the citizens.

“My call is: everyone with the students, everyone for the students, for the success of their revolt,” said the DP leader.

Asked if tomorrow’s protest would mirror previous demonstrations—marching to the Prime Minister’s Office before converging with students at the Ministry of Education—Berisha confirmed that the plan remains largely unchanged.

“It will be something like that—though the details are still to be worked out—but everything is aimed at supporting the students. It is all focused on their success and their empowerment,” Berisha said. /gj.m/r.e/a.f/p.s./
