Museum Week 2026: Visual Projections and Stories at the Mosaic of Tirana

Museum Week 2026 has transformed one of the capital’s top attractions. History, contemporary art, and music met at the Mosaic of Tirana.

The site hosted the “Beautiful Minds of Albania” 2026 event. Blendi Gonxhja, the Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sport, shared details about the gathering. The organizers presented innovative visual projections to the public. They also shared stories about inspiring Albanian figures.

Gonxhja called the event a unique experience for the public. The project transformed the cultural heritage site into a modern stage. It created a space for artistic dialogue and memory.

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport supported the event. Contemporary artists Suida Dushi and Gruda contributed their visual and vocal talents.

From May 18 to 24, Albania is celebrating Museum Week 2026. Museums, archaeological parks, and cultural heritage sites across the country are participating. They are welcoming citizens and visitors with a rich program. The schedule includes cultural activities, exhibitions, guided tours, artistic performances, and educational experiences.

Throughout the week, these sites are hosting events to connect the public with Albanian history, identity, and cultural values. The initiative turns culture into an open, inclusive, and inspiring experience for everyone.
