“Albanians Stand with Skopje!” Protest in Tirana in Support of Albanian Students in North Macedonia

Albanian students have organized a protest in Tirana in support of their peers in North Macedonia, who are demanding the right to take their exams in the Albanian language.

The students gathered at Skanderbeg Square, holding banners with slogans such as: “We are all together” and “One language unites us beyond borders,” among others.

Under the slogan “Albanians Stand with Skopje,” the students will march toward the Embassy of North Macedonia in Tirana.
