Full statement:

“I am very pleased with today’s meeting with the French Minister for European Affairs, Benjamin Haddad, with whom we held a substantial discussion, particularly regarding the European Union enlargement process, the situation in the Western Balkans, and the importance of regional cooperation.

The dynamics of relations between Albania and France have never been richer, stronger, or more promising. I expressed my deep gratitude for France’s clear and unwavering stance in support of a more enlarged, united, stronger, and always solidaristic Europe, capable of responding to the challenges of an increasingly troubled world.

I also praised the Minister’s personal commitment to supporting Albania’s European journey, especially during the decisive stages of the European Union accession process.

Beyond the strengthened political dialogue, our bilateral partnership is being materialized through tangible projects with direct benefits for our citizens. Within the framework of an ever-expanding partnership, we are actively strengthening cooperation in strategic areas such as advanced innovation, green energy, defense, education, strategic communication, and cultural exchanges.

We reaffirmed our shared commitment to further deepen this special partnership and strengthen bilateral relations between our two countries in all areas of mutual interest,” Hoxha wrote.
