Albania is positioning itself as a safe destination for quality investment and sustainable development, Tourism, Culture and Sports Minister Blendi Gonxhja said in Zurich.

Gonxhja attended the “Safe Haven” forum in Zurich. The event focused on global economic trends, investment, risk management, portfolios, and digital identity.

During the forum, participants also discussed Albania’s potential as a cultural and tourism destination. The discussions highlighted investment opportunities in projects that connect cultural heritage with the country’s European identity.

According to Gonxhja, the event provided an opportunity to present Albania’s strategic advantages to international investors.

“Albania is reshaping its competitive approach to attracting capital and talent through its policies and strategic advantages,” Gonxhja said.

Furthermore, he highlighted the country’s efforts to strengthen its position in international investment markets. He said Albania aims to attract investments that support long-term and sustainable development.

Meanwhile, the forum addressed the changing global economic environment. Participants also examined investment risks and strategies for managing portfolios and digital identities.

Gonxhja stressed the importance of presenting Albania as a reliable market for international investors.

“This was an important discussion about positioning Albania as a safe destination and an ambitious market for quality investment and sustainable development,” he said.

In addition, the event promoted Albania’s cultural and tourism potential among an international audience. As a result, the country aims to strengthen its appeal to investors while supporting sustainable economic growth.
