Albanian President Bajram Begaj attended the farewell ceremony for King Harald V of Norway in Oslo, joining monarchs and world leaders in paying tribute to the late Norwegian king.
The ceremony took place at Oslo Cathedral following a solemn procession from the Royal Palace. Representatives from several countries attended the event to honor King Harald V and express their condolences to the Norwegian Royal Family and people.
President Begaj paid his respects and extended heartfelt condolences to King Haakon VIII, the Royal Family, and the Norwegian people following the king’s death.
“King Harald V dedicated his life to serving Norway and its people. He embodied continuity, unity, and the values of Norwegian society, earning the respect and affection of his citizens,” Begaj said.
He also conveyed the condolences of the Albanian people and paid tribute to the late king’s contribution to Norway.
“I expressed my condolences, as well as those of the Albanian people, to the Royal Family and the Norwegian people. I honored the memory of King Harald V and his valuable contribution in the service of his country,” Begaj added.
