The event once again highlighted Shkodra’s role as a center of Albanian culture and literature. First, the opening ceremony welcomed Deputy Mayor Teuta Qyteza.

She praised the initiative and stressed its importance in promoting books, reading and Albanian authors. Then, organizers announced the winners at the closing ceremony.

Ridvan Dibra received the award for Best Novel. Romeo Gurakuqi won Best Study. Durim Taçi received the award for Best Translation.

Meanwhile, Luçia Zorba was honored with a recognition award.

Finally, the fair turned Shkodër into an important meeting point for culture, knowledge and books.
