TIRANA, April 22 – The Delphi Economic Forum opens today in Greece, bringing together political leaders, business representatives, academics, and experts from around the world. The event runs until 25 April and focuses on global challenges and international dialogue.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama attends the forum, accompanied by his wife, Linda Rama. He takes part in panel discussions and holds bilateral meetings with European leaders during the event.
PM Rama is scheduled to meet Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis for a 40-minute meeting. The talks focus on bilateral relations, economic cooperation, and progress on a new strategic partnership agreement. The meeting also takes place in the context of Albania’s EU integration path and pending bilateral issues, including maritime matters.
The forum agenda includes global crises, the war in Ukraine, tensions in the Middle East, energy security, and technological development. Rama contributes to a panel on the transformation of Southeast European economies toward new markets. He also holds additional meetings with European counterparts in Athens.
A memorandum of understanding is expected between the Albanian Investment Corporation and a Greek state asset management company to strengthen economic cooperation. Minister Delina Ibrahimaj also holds separate meetings during the visit.
