Dutch Rider Niels Reemeijer Wins Stage 4 of Albanian Cycling Tour

The fourth stage of the 83rd edition of the Tour of Albania concluded today with a strong performance from Dutch cyclist Niels Reemeijer.

The 148.8 km stage started in Vlorë and passed through the Llogara Tunnel, Himarë, Qeparo and Kuç before returning to Vlorë.

Reemeijer won after a highly competitive race lasting around four hours. He finished ahead of Greece’s Bourgas, while another Dutch rider, Schouren, placed third.

The Dutch rider now leads the overall classification and holds the yellow jersey.

He also leads the general standings with a total time of 14:05:14.

Greek cyclist Georgios Bouglas took the points classification jersey.

Turkish rider İbrahim Halil Doğan leads the mountain points classification and wears the green jersey.

The white jersey for best young rider also went to Reemeijer.

The Dutch team Groot Amsterdam leads the team classification overall.

The final stage will take place tomorrow, starting in Vlorë and finishing in Fier after passing through Lushnjë.
