EU delegation: Terrorism continues to pose a security threat to Kosovo, Western Balkans

European Union and Kosovo officials met in Pristina on 14-15 December 2017 to discuss security, counterterrorism and countering violent extremism, the EU Office in Kosovo announced. The EU delegation was led by Deputy Secretary General Pedro Serrano from the European External Action Service (EEAS), together with EU Counterterrorism Coordinator Gilles de Kerchove and Deputy Director General Olivier Onidi from DG HOME. The visit is one in a series of high-level visits to the Western Balkans on these issues.
