The former head of the National Bureau of Investigation, Aida Hajnaj, has been appointed as the head of the Information Technology Department in the State Police.
Sources indicate that the decision for her appointment was made by the Minister of Interior, Besfort Lamallari.
According to the law on the State Police, Hajnaj was supposed to return to the same position she previously held. The lack of such reinstatement, according to sources, led her to initiate legal proceedings at the Administrative Court against the former Director of the State Police, Ilir Proda. This case has also impacted the cancellation of the competition for leading several departments within the State Police structure.
