Fun Fair Albania marks International Children’s Day in Tirana

TIRANA, June 1 – International Children’s Day on June 1 highlights the promotion of children’s rights and well-being. The day builds on international efforts strengthened by the 1959 Declaration of the Rights of the Child and the 1989 UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Meanwhile, Tirana hosts the “FUN FAIR ’26” exhibition, which runs from May 29 as a three-day event dedicated to children’s activities and entertainment. The fair marks its second edition in Albania and turns the capital into a center of children’s entertainment.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shares an invitation on social media for families to visit the event on June 1. The initiative promotes participation in the Fun Fair Albania activities during the holiday.

The event features painting exhibitions, installations, creative games and artistic workshops for children. It also presents a stage program with performances prepared specifically for young audiences across three days.

In addition, the Fun Fair stage hosts artistic numbers designed for children as part of a structured entertainment program. The event involves cooperation between line institutions and receives support from the Ministry of Tourism and Environment and the Municipality of Tirana.
