Work has started in Kashar on the site where a temporary stadium will host the super show of Kanye West in Albania.
Tourism, Culture and Sports Minister Blendi Gonxhja shared images from the construction site of the temporary stadium. The venue will host a production of global scale and standards that is expected to raise Albania’s international profile.
“A mega event of these dimensions represents not only an important artistic and cultural moment, but also an extraordinary opportunity to promote the country, develop tourism, and strengthen the local economy through the attention it attracts from the global music, media, showbiz, and entertainment industries,” Gonxhja said.
The concert is expected to take place on July 11, 2026. The artist, now known as Ye, is expected to attract around 60,000 spectators to Eagle Stadium in what organizers describe as the largest music event ever held in Albania.
