PM Rama announces ALL 32 cut in diesel price per litre

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced plans to reduce the price of diesel by 32 Albanian Lek (ALL) per litre by removing the circulation tax from fuel.

Under the proposed changes, the government would shift the tax to vehicles and collect it through the relevant road transport directorate. The measure would lower the price motorists pay at the pump.

In addition, the government plans to introduce a new circulation tax on foreign vehicles entering Albania.

Rama announced the measures as part of planned changes to fiscal policy, although the source does not specify when they would take effect.
