President Bajram Begaj of Bajram Begaj met the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandroković, in Tirana.
First, he focused on European integration. He stressed closing negotiation chapters. He pushed for finalizing Albania’s accession process.
Next, Begaj praised strong relations with Croatia. He highlighted the strategic partnership. In addition, he said both countries share a common European vision. He also underlined parliamentary cooperation. He noted that it has strengthened bilateral ties. He thanked Croatia for its continued support.
Furthermore, he pointed to Croatia’s EU experience. He said it inspires Albania. As a result, he stressed that reforms are delivering real results. He confirmed that Albania is now in a decisive phase. He added that the country is working to complete negotiations. He reaffirmed that EU membership remains a key national goal.
Finally, he emphasized good neighborly relations. He said regional stability is essential. He also supported Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
