Prime Minister Edi Rama, also leader of the Socialist Party of Albania, met the party assembly in Unit 3 in Tirana.
Rama praised the results in the unit. He said the unit shows growth. He thanked party members for their work. He said 10 out of 12 regions show growth, while two show decline.
Rama highlighted European integration. He said Albania faces a historic chance to join the European Union.
He said the Socialist Party must deliver this opportunity. He said Albania has never had such a favorable moment.
Rama said both sides now want membership. He said the EU wants Albania to join. He said Albania has earned trust and respect.
He urged institutions to act while the door stays open. He said EU membership will give Albanians a wider European home.
Rama stressed strong institutions. He said they ensure stable democracy. He linked reforms in justice to this goal.
He criticized the opposition. He said success comes from work and organization. He said the opposition shows little engagement and preparation.
