The Security Academy has welcomed 390 new students to its Bachelor’s programme in Security and Investigation. State Police Director General Skënder Hita said the new generation will play an important role in the future of the institution.
Hita said strong interest in the programme has brought thousands of applicants over the past three years. This year, a competitive and transparent process selected 390 students. He also highlighted the Academy’s cooperation with leading institutions in the region, Europe and the United States. Its facilities, laboratories and academic resources support the students and teaching staff.
Meanwhile, Hita said the State Police has developed professionally over the years and now takes part in international investigations and operations. He told the students that police work is a mission, not simply a profession. The next three years will shape their professional and personal development through knowledge, physical training, discipline and mutual respect.
Hita also described the Security Academy as a key priority and the main driver of the State Police’s renewal. He urged students to use their studies fully and share ideas that could improve the Academy. He reminded them that their future role carries responsibility towards citizens, the law and the country.
