During the meetings, Director Hita initially called for discipline at work, stronger performance of police services in the field, communication, and continuous monitoring of conflicts and every concern raised by citizens.

He further focused on combating illegal possession of weapons, apprehending wanted individuals, cracking down on the sale of narcotics near schools, preventing the cultivation of narcotic plants in open and closed areas, prioritizing domestic violence cases, and fighting gambling activities, environmental crimes, illegal trafficking, economic crimes, and border-related crimes.

The General Director also addressed school safety, road safety, and the tourist season, requesting maximum commitment from all police structures, special attention to school safety until the end of the academic year, as well as open patrols and Criminal Police agents to target criminal elements attempting to approach schools.

He ordered intensive monitoring of road traffic through smart technology on all national road axes, avoiding unnecessary stops and verbal contact between Traffic Police officers and road users, while identifying and penalizing violations through technological means.

Regarding urban centers, Director Hita instructed not only the Traffic Police, but also General Patrols and the “Shqiponja” Force, to take a firm stance against drivers parking on pedestrian crossings, sidewalks, or double and triple parking, which obstruct the free movement of citizens and pedestrians. He also called for action against those performing dangerous maneuvers, tire spinning, and creating excessive noise through modified exhaust systems, which have become a serious concern for citizens.

The safety of tourists was another key instruction from the General Director, who assigned specific responsibilities to police structures.

Additionally, Director Hita requested better-quality service from Border Police, the opening of additional counters during peak traffic periods, and ethical communication not only with tourists but with every citizen, as well as increased vigilance in preventing and combating border crimes.

Director Hita also assigned tasks regarding a recurring and concerning issue over the years: arson. Hita stated: “Summer is now beginning, and with it come fires, so work must start immediately by contacting administrators of administrative units and notifying shepherds responsible for the territories they use, in cases where fires occur or narcotic plant cultivation is detected. Also, individuals who caused fires in previous years must be identified and kept under control.”

At the end of the meetings, the General Director emphasized that he stands by every honest police officer and will be very strict with anyone who abuses their duty and the trust of citizens.
