Thaci not a unifying figure in Kosovo to lead the dialogue with Serbia

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, who has been tasked by the Government to lead the final phase of the political dialogue with Serbia, is perceived as obstacle and accused of not being a unifying figure in the country. In addition to opposition parties who are fiercely criticising Thaci’s role in dialogue with Serbia, also officials of ruling Nisma party say Thaci should not lead the EU-facilitated dialogue with Serbia in Brussels.
