Kosovo’s President met his former enemies while visiting Serb controlled north

President Hashim Thaci who last week made a surprise rare visit to the northern part of Kosovo inhabited and controlled by Serbs, said that he chatted with local Serbs and some of them were his former adversaries during “armed conflict” in Kosovo. Thaci during the 1998-99 war in Kosovo was political representative of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) which fought Serbian military and army.
