Kosovo Court issues arrest warrant for ex-KLA member who is summoned by war crimes court

Prizren Basic Court has issued an international arrest warrant against former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Remzi Shala, who failed to appear at the court when he is facing charges of killing an Albanian civilian during war in Kosovo. Shala has also ignored a summon by the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office based at The Hague, investigating and prosecuting alleged crimes of KLA.
