Kosovo ruling party leader calls for temporary suspension of tax

Speaker of Kosovo Parliament and leader of the biggest ruling party – PDK, sent a letter to coalition partners asking temporary suspension of tax on imports from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, in order as he said, for Kosovo to maintain its partnership with the United States. The US Ambassador to Kosovo urged authorities in Pristina to urgently suspend the tax imposed in November last year by Government to counter Serbia’s aggressive campaign against country’s statehood.
