Strategic dialogue focuses on regional initiatives and financial partnerships

The State Agency for Strategic Programming and Aid Coordination has brought together national stakeholders to explore new opportunities for regional cooperation and financing. The meeting also marked the first thematic workshop under the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region Stakeholders Engagement Point (StEP) project.

Representatives of public institutions, development partners, financial institutions, academia and civil society discussed ways to strengthen cross-sectoral cooperation. They also examined funding opportunities for strategic initiatives across the region.

A central objective was to turn the priorities of the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region into viable projects with sustainable financing. The discussions also sought to strengthen dialogue among stakeholders and identify practical avenues for joint action.

As a project partner, the agency coordinates stakeholder engagement activities under Work Package 3. Through this role, it supports the mobilisation of national stakeholders and the development of partnerships to advance regional priorities.
